Calloway's Story
Calloway is a southern sea otter, a threatened species found along the central coast of California. When Calloway was rescued, she was malnourished from being separated from her mother too soon. The Center, along with support from our partners, nursed Calloway back to health.
Thanks to dedicated recovery efforts, sea otters seem to be making a comeback in recent years. The Center is an important partner in recovery efforts, providing a critical space for rehabilitation of sick and injured sea otters.
Adoption Details
When you adopt this past patient, you'll receive a personalized 7in. x 5in. physical adoption certificate with the animal's photo and story on the back. Your symbolic adoption will make a difference in the lives of current and future patients.
