Percevero's Story
Percevero's name means "to persevere," which is exactly what this sea lion pup did. Extremely underweight and suffering from pneumonia and parasites, this pup was found by a park ranger when attempting to cross a four-lane road in San Francisco.
After six weeks of care at The Marine Mammal Center Percevero nearly doubled in size, was given a clean bill of health, and released back to his ocean home for a second chance at life.
