Bogey's Story
Just a few days old, harbor seal pup Bogey was found alone just below the ninth hole of the famous Pebble Beach Golf Links. This orphaned pup had somehow been separated from his mother and was much too young to survive on his own. Because Bogey was so young and unable to eat whole fish, he was tube-fed nutritious fish smoothies five times a day. He then was able to transition to eating whole fish and learned to forage for fish independently, just as he would in the wild.
After months of care at the Center, Bogey was released along with two other harbor seals at Point Reyes National Seashore.
